Glee is back! Yay!
So we get right into exposition attack, crits for 5000,
boom, you’re in the story a month later.
Rachel and Finn didn’t get married due to Quinn’s accident,
and Quinn didn’t die. Neither did she
seem to suffer too much of anything, beside the OMG WHEELCHAIR moment. As my husband(loudly) pointed out over and
over again during the show, she was looking remarkably put together for even a
month out of a big accident. The only
way you would have known was the OMG WHEELCHAIR.
Sue is back to being mean, but only because she’s massively hormonal
due to the for realsies baby she’s carrying.
Oh, and Nene Leeks is threatening to take over the Cheerios, natch.
Rachel feels guilty for Quinn’s accident for all of 10
seconds, then is totally over it when Blaine’s brother comes for a visit. Blaine’s brother, is, of course, a HUGE tv
star…and by HUGE star, he means he was in a credit score commercial. Blaine is angsty, they sing it out, and all
better, yay!
In more…humanizing news, Sue gets the news that her baby has
downs…of course. As Nene says, ‘you older than God!”
Let’s see, what else happened? The kids were dumb, yet again, there was a
gratuitous shower scene(thanks, Blaine…Xtina is a good fit on you!), and there
were TONS of anti-texting PSAs.
Just because your writers write the kids dumber than a box
of rock, Fox, doesn’t mean the rest of the world is, k thx.
And FINALLY, Rachel and Finn fight again, some
more, Rachel is angsty, the end.
Huh...so I do actually enjoy this show...I just really wish the writers would stop changing the characters to fit into the story, but rather fit the characters in based on who we know they are.
